MTF Swiss Cloud AG supportsthe COVID-Guide

The COVID-Guide, which was developed in cooperation with an international development team, supports the population in the personal analysis of possible coronavirus symptoms. It enables a medically initial assessment of the coronavirus. MTF is happy to make an important contribution and provides the necessary infrastructure in the cloud free of charge.

There is great uncertainty among the population. The free COVID-Guide helps people to make an initial personal assessment of their symptoms. It enables the population to assess their own situation safely, quickly and effectively in order to be able to act in a self-responsible manner. With "Together against Coronavirus", various organisations from Switzerland, Germany and Italy have set up a joint telemedical project across borders. In addition to the initial assessment, the COVID-Guide is able to accompany patients at home and thus to recognize the occurrence of alarm symptoms at an early stage.

MTF makes a significant contribution to this and supports the development team with IT services. For this international project we provide the necessary resources in the MTF Swiss Cloud free of charge. In this way we ensure that the COVID-Guide has the performance that is needed in the current situation. Thanks to the latest security standards in our private cloud, we also ensure that all data traffic is optimally protected at all times.

"We must be aware that patients with fever and cough, despite the pandemic, may have other diseases besides COVID-19. The basic recommendation that people with breathing difficulties stay at home now can be fatal. With COVID-Guide, we are providing a medical triage application that makes it possible to treat the right patients in the right place at the right time".
